Who we are

Pathwize ('Pathwize', 'we', 'us') provides an EU-native platform for sourcing, engaging and working with credential-verified experts to produce and evaluate data for AI training and evaluation. For personal data processed through our websites and account, Pathwize is the controller. Where we process personal data on behalf of a customer as part of the Service, we act as processor under our Data Processing Addendum. You can reach us at privacy@gopathwize.com or at [registered company name and address, to be confirmed].

Data we process

We process: (a) account and contact data (name, work email, company, phone number, role); (b) profile and verification data for experts (credentials, qualifications, verification status, payment details); (c) content you submit or generate on the platform; (d) usage and technical data (device and browser information, IP address, log and event data, cookies and similar technologies); and (e) communications with us (support requests, emails). We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data unless you provide them for a specific, lawful purpose.

How and why we use your data

We use personal data to: provide, operate and secure the Service and perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); respond to enquiries and provide support (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)); send service and, where permitted, marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)); prevent fraud and abuse and keep the platform safe (Art. 6(1)(f)); and comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Where we rely on legitimate interests, we balance those interests against your rights.

EU data residency

Personal and project data is stored and processed within the EU/EEA by default. Our primary hosting, storage and processing infrastructure is EU-resident.

Sharing and sub-processors

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example hosting, authentication, payments and analytics), each bound by a contract to process data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data. A current list of sub-processors is available in our Data Processing Addendum and on request.

International transfers

Processing is EU-resident by default. Where any transfer outside the EEA is necessary, we rely on an adequacy decision or on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where required.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to provide the Service, and to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

Your GDPR rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise your rights, contact privacy@gopathwize.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies that are required for the site to function and, subject to your consent where required, analytics cookies to understand and improve usage. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie controls or your browser settings.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege principles and logging. No system is completely secure, and we continuously review and improve our safeguards.

Children

The Service is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The 'Last updated' date at the top reflects the latest version, and we will notify you of material changes where required by law.
