Sign up with Google or email. After verifying, complete your expert profile and add the credentials you want verified. Your profile and reusable assessments carry across every role you apply to.

Glossary

Honest hybrid: AI drafts, the expert verifies. Provenance trail: a hash-chained, tamper-evident log of every task action. Inter-rater agreement: how much experts agree on the same item. Annex IV: EU AI Act technical documentation generated from the provenance trail.

Applying for a role

Open a role under Explore and click Start application. The flow has four steps: profile, background and credential, an AI interview, and review. Before you submit, an AI fit check returns Allowed, Compatibility warning, or Blocked. Assessments are reusable, you only take them once.

Reusable assessments

Assessments measure domain judgment once and apply across multiple roles. Your results are private to you and are never sold to employers. Retake windows apply if a score expires.

The AI interview & integrity

The AI interview asks domain-specific questions and scores your reasoning. Honest hybrid is allowed: you may use AI to draft, but you must verify and own the final judgment. Undisclosed AI use is flagged by an integrity check (timing and style signals) and can block an application.

The annotation workspace

Work happens in a sandboxed, no-download workspace. The model drafts a candidate answer; you verify or override it and record your rationale. Every action, assignment, draft, your verification, submission, is written to a hash-chained, tamper-evident provenance trail.

Work trials & endorsements

A work trial is a scoped engagement. You can hold one active trial at a time. After accepting, complete onboarding, then build a track record through peer endorsements and weekly project surveys. You can offboard from a trial at any time.

Payments & payouts

Payouts are weekly via Stripe Connect, with Wise as the EU/EEA fallback. Standard payouts are free; instant payouts carry a 1.5% fee. Connect a payout method on the Earnings page before requesting a payout.

Referrals

Share your referral link to invite other experts. You earn a bonus of up to €280 when a referred expert completes a work trial. Track invites and bonuses on the Referrals page.

Taxes & worker classification

Experts are engaged with jurisdiction-correct worker classification. Tax documents are generated at year end. You are responsible for declaring income per your local rules.

Supported countries

Pathwize defaults to the EU and EEA for expert engagement and data residency, 30 countries. Availability outside the EU/EEA is limited.

Your data rights (GDPR)

You can export all data we hold about you or request erasure from the Compliance area in the portal. On erasure, provenance events are pseudonymized (your actor id is redacted) rather than deleted, to preserve dataset integrity.
